The Vale Boutique and New Favorite Brand

The Vale Boutique is one my favorite boutiques in Williamsburg. This store is the very first one that I’ve visited when I moved to Williamsburg. I was there last week to show to my friend some of designer boutiques. She was complaining about Dubai’s crazy luxury shopping malls (She works in Dubai). So she wanted to find some original and nice stuff with reasonable price.  Luckily she liked The Vale and bought two dresses, yet I was the one who bought more. And Fatih picked this dress for me from the brand called “Moon River”.

I always ask Fatih’s opinion about my clothes even though he is not going to get my idea of styling. I think you became so depending after getting married and doing every single thing together.  Of course we have our own life for ourselves but we generally do everything together. Yoga is his thing so I occasionally join him. I run by myself and I have my fashion related events, he definitely doesn’t wanna go with me. This is why he went to Burning Man by himself this year. And I am not really sure if I can handle desert and sand for a whole week. We are gonna see that if I can do away from everything for a whole week with the difficult living conditions when he return from his adventure. Who knows, maybe I’ll be there next year.

Dress: Moonriver (similar from BCBG), Bag: Vintage 1960s (a modern approach from Kate Spade), Shoes: Sam Edelman (on sale), Sunglasses: Quay (blue mirror), Vegan leather and gold chain necklace: bought from Brooklyn Arts and Craft (very similar)

Anyways when I try some clothes on, Fatih always picks something that he likes to see on me and he offers to buy it for me. (I never miss the opportunity of free clothes) This printed scarf dress is the one Fatih picked for me. And I picked one more dress and a romper from same brand. You actually saw the romper that I worn for Robb Vices’ event. (Don’t worry I’ll do shooting for that, too.) And I can’t actually wait to style the  gorgeous caftan dress I bought.

I am really exciting about this shooting. Because this is the first time , I started to work with a professional photographer (except my brother, he doesn’t count he was just visiting me in New York). And we also started my “Coffee Talks with Newest Yorkers” video series. She is amazing and I feel really luck to meet her.
