This Tuesday, the French house unveiled its latest couture collection for spring 2022. This season is all about contrast and balance as seen on stage in Chanel’s new fashion show with structured dresses next to flowy ones–a perfect way to enjoy Haute Couture Week while it lasts!
The designer wanted to create an ethereal, floating feeling with her designs. To do this she selected geometric shapes that would contrast and highlight the softness of some pieces while giving them a sense of freshness through negative space or lighter colors in other garments.”

The socialite Charlotte Casiraghi rode on horseback to open the show. The French artist Xavier Veilhan who was in charge of its decor and had planned this as an artistic statement about what they would be presenting: pure fantasy versus practicality without any moderation or sense of boundaries between them at all!
Viard’s spring 2022 collection was all about transformation. The show opened with a series of structured tweed jackets, but by the end, it had transformed into something much more flirty and feminine as pockets appeared on some otherwise classic garments for an airy feel that levitated above ground level in some cases!
Viard’s gowns for the show’s finale were ethereal and perfect to make any non-traditional bride feel like royalty. A black bubble dress with a one-shoulder bow tie sleeve or white slip paired delicately together by way of beading accents on top, both choices would be stunning touches in any wedding style! The final design left no doubt as Viards know how deadly elegant they look while also keeping it classic – ending her collection with another luxurious bridal Gown subtly different than all other examples are seen before but just as elegant when worn by someone else.
When you were a woman in the 1900s, there was really only one way to be practical and fashionable. That’s why Viard had such an immense selection of clothes for ladies who wanted their elegance coupled with rugged good looks!
