Carolina Herrera routinely features dramatic color and beautiful floral design. Current creative director Wes Gordon stays true to theme in this collection. Inspired by the wildflower superbloom in California, you can see bursts of bold botany right on the runway. Join us as we recount our favorite looks in this Carolina Herrera NYFW Spring 2020 review.

Our Favorite Looks
Whenever I see this type of flowy, perfectly draped silhouette on a floor-length gown Carolina Herrera instantly comes to mind. This pretty pastel palette is perfect for spring. The embellishments add an interesting layer of texture to the piece that draws the eye.
Again, I’m obsessed with this color scheme and how it works with contrasting skin tones. My favorite thing about this look is how it is completely wearable off of the runway. Plus, bare shoulders are so chic and appropriate for spring.
Short and sweet, this dazzling lime green off the shoulder gown is one of a kind. The folded detailing across the bust accompanied by the softly draped sleeves looks very elegant. House of Herrera has proven that neon is a trend that works all year long.
California wildflowers cover this dreamy gown in an ode to the super bloom. I love how the sweetheart neckline is constructed to bring a more relaxed shape to the bust instead of cutting sharply across the chest.
Eclectic silhouettes and unique patterns are one of the reasons I fell in love with Carolina Herrera, to begin with and this final look is a shining example of what makes this brand so renowned.
