Jacquemus returns to his roots with this procession of neutral garments that are wearable both on and off the runway. The noted designer also opted for a co-ed environment, which is refreshing because it is not often done. Watch the runway below and see if you can spot our top looks from the Jacquemus Fall 2020 RTW collection.
Watch The Runway
Our Favorite Looks
I chose this first look because I think it’s very fun, but still has that poised, runway quality that is unmistakable. I absolutely love the fitted structure of the dress paired with the slouchy, peep-toed thigh high boots.
Usually, I would opt for this type of dress in an off the shoulder style, but I actually think the straps work here. This look is so ladylike, yet laidback. I also appreciate the totally neutral color scheme.
I’m sorry, I know it’s not the most extravagant ensemble on the Jacquemus runway, but it’s my favorite thus far. There’s nothing more satisfying than a perfectly tailored coat and this one gets extra bonus points for being in a muted olive tone.
Honestly, I almost died when I saw this hot pink look on the horizon. I mean, just look at that little pink bamboo purse 🥺. It’s beyond cute. This is like the type of outfit I could only pray to be confident enough to wear out due to the bright color.
I am a total sucker for looks like this, that are girly and tomboy-esque. I enjoy the ruffles at the bustline and how they expand around the shoulders. I’m not gonna lie, I’ll be looking for a similar top at Urban Outfitters.
To fully appreciate this sexy and sophisticated Jacquemus gown, you have to see Gigi Hadid model in motion. She’s beautiful, of course, but the dress looks absolutely divine. This piece is definitely the highlight of the show, imho.
