My Gucci Sogo Bag was a gift from my sister when I was pregnant back in the summer of 2017. And She bought this pristine condition bag from a consignment store. The previous owner must have worn only 2-3 times the top.

I love how quality this bag is. The leather is soft and very durable. The construction of the bag is perfection. It’s very roomy. Although it says “do not carry heavy products that may affect the shape of the bag” on gucci.com, I once carried my iPad, my Kindle, and my Chanel wallet all in the same bag. As you know, some bags start to rip off from the strap attachment. It has been 3 years now, I don’t have any problems like that.

According to gucci.com, the size of this bag is 8″W x 6″H x 2.5″ D. As I mentioned earlier, the bag is quite roomy to carry two devices and a wallet and your lipsticks.

It has two pockets inside. One attached to the back of the bag and one front. The back one has Gucci Logo attached. I don’t put my phone keys in this pocket to prevent them from scratching my iPhone. And I generally put my lipstick on the one in front. I prefer to keep my phone in the big middle section.

I don’t know how much my sister paid for this second-hand bag since It was a present. What I know is if I know how much I am going to use this bag how comfortable and quality It is, I would have definitely made the investment for such a good bag.

I almost had worn this bag every single day when I was pregnant back in 2017. Still love my bag when I go out during the weekend to meet friends or for brunch or for a walk.

And I may still buy the one in the beige color. It is such a beautiful color. We called it “sutlu kahve” in Turkish. I can translate it as “Coffee with milk.” The color is just perfect.

I always do this math when I want to buy a luxury or an expensive item. What is my CPW (cost-per-wear)? Am Let’s make a quick calculation. When you first buy this bag, you probably want to wear the same bag 3-4 times a week. That period probably lasts for the first three months.

4 wear x 4 weeks = 16 times in a month. 16 x 3 months = 48 wears. And I assume you wear 2 times a week for the rest of the year. 2 x 4 = 8 wears in a month. 8 x 9 = 72 wears the rest of the year. So In the first year of the bag, you wear it in total 72 + 48 = 120 times.

$1300 (tax include price) / 120= $10.8

This calculation may sound ridiculous, but don’t forget you will own a quality luxury bag, and you don’t support fast fashion as an owner of a good quality staple item to your wardrobe. The value you bring is more than what I calculated above.
