We archetype things.*
It is so interesting to learn about so much about brand. I wrote about my new excitement last week. It has been 3 weeks to I started my FIT program. When I first started to courses I did knew so many things about brand management. The thing was I was not so much aware of how they do their tricks. I know about neuromarketing which sounds very scifi but It is happening every day without your permission and knowledge via advertisements.
Some people says subconscious marketing some people called subliminal marketing. The most known come from of course one the biggest brand of all time. Coca cola. When I first saw that image. I saw penis but I couldn’t see the girl who is waiting open mouth. There 2 explanation for this. The fact that I am sexless human being or people push too hard to find this kind of stuff.
There is no write answer there. I think the key answer might be “sex sells”. Subliminal marketing does “sex sell” things in a hidden way not obvious way you start to think It is smart no longer.
However archetypes are quite different than subliminal marketing messages. They are still linked but archetypes mostly shows you to brand’s characteristics.
Do you see link between Zara and “being hunter”? Or nike and “rebellious”?
These words are actually archetypes of these brands. After I learn about archetypes I personally start to think about archetypes behind my favorite brands.
