I’ve decided to share my monthly review of events in fashion and technology business at the beginning of this year. Unfortunately, I’ve missed my January review. I don’t know how that happens to me all the time. Having kids changes everything. I really lost the sense of the time. Today, for example, I started my day at 3 pm for my work. Yet I actually started my day at 6 am as feeding the babies. I am really trying to do my best sometimes I really struggle to be honest to keep up with my work. It’s another post to have a heart to heart talk. Today is the day of my review of fashion and technology.
If I really enjoy and have the benefit of these articles I am gonna tell you from here so you may consider doing the same thing. In the beginning, they call the blog is an internet diary. This really feels like actually diary writing when looking at back to current month.

Let’s come back to the business. As you can imagine It was a full of fashion this month. We stop calling them fashion weeks but fashion month. It kicks with New York Fashion Week and follows with London Fashion Week, Milan Fashion Week and ends with Paris Fashion Week even though there are Tokyo, Moscow, Sydney and Istanbul Fashion Weeks, all world cares about these major cities, unfortunately.
As I started to write about my reviews on designer collection I should have to take a close look to all these other fashion weeks to bring you a piece of fresh air but not the all old same brands. You might consider to check out my “emerging designers & brands” section.
New York Fashion Week was okay this year. I was very disappointed last year but I feel like something changed in this year even though we lost some major brands to European fashion weeks.
I absolutely love Alexander Wang, Zadig Voltaire and Coach. Love Philipp Plein‘s Show and still very hopeful about Victoria Beckham.
In terms of technology news, the major news was about Amazon’s smart mirror. We have still some struggles about blockchain coins. They are still trying to recover from the early year trends.
According to WWD, 175 million Europeans used their contactless payment services. This gives us that wearable technologies are still in the favour and they gonna gets smarter and more suitable for everyday fashion.
Samsung Galaxy S9, the latest most probably, the best device from Samsung.
- AR on the front camera for Animoji-like features,
- Bixby Vision improvements to the personal assistant
these are the biggest and most exciting news for us the fashion lovers. Samsung brings the biggest improvements to its Bixby Vision project. When you tab the Bixby option to access a variety of different new features comes as when you point the camera to the food, it estimates the calories or, including tracking the place you’re in.
I hope you enjoy Looking back to February 2018 for Fashion Technology Trends
Until March review, stay awesome and be happy.
