The Dior Spring 2020 collection was extra special this season because the esteemed house collaborated with Coloco. For those who don’t know, Coloco is a environmentally conscious collective dedicated to sustaining nature. Fun fact: All 164 trees featured on the runway are real and were planted around Paris after the show. Yay, nature! See the incredible plant based presentation below.

Our Favorite Looks
See that harmless straw bucket hat that practically covers half of the model’s face? Get used to it because it makes an appearance in every single outfit on the runway. Now that that’s addressed, I chose this opening look because I love monochromatic looks. The bold, black stripes and netted combat boots add just the right amount of contrast.
If the Dior Spring 2020 collection hasn’t reminded you of the Wizard of Oz yet (pigtail braids, anyone?), this look should do the trick. I almost feel like this could be a couture scarecrow/straw man Halloween costume, but it’s definitely an attention-grabber.
Flowers and foliage make up this adorable knitted romper in a look that is more chic than the last. I love the additional accessories such as the large golden rings, tasseled J’Adoir bracelets, and the multi-colored gemstone choker.
First and foremost, I love that we’re seeing a lot of black on the spring/summer runways. This look contains so many elements that I love, especially flowing semi-sheer skirt with its wispy floral appliqués. The best detail, however, is the wickedly long rope Christian Dior belt that all but drags across the dirt paved runway.
Off the shoulder gowns are my one true love. If you haven’t noticed, I feature a lot of them in our high fashion series. This sheer number caught my eye because of the lovely stream of colors, from a peachy nude that fades into a striking transparent silver.
