I’m first introduced to raffia shoes when I was one of the four finalists of first Clergerie Girls contest back in 2016. All of us were gifted six pairs of Clergerie shoes. And one of my shoes were famous Clergerie raffia Teba sneakers. You can still find these sneakers on Shopbop.
When I do my research for 2020 Spring 7 Trendy Sandal Trends, I came across to raffia shoes so often. I would have added this trend to my post then raffia shoes are not always sandals technically. You can still wear them in a sneakers form even in the hot summer days because of the woven straw your feet can breathe from the tiny holes.
You should keep in mind that raffia shoes can be so comfortable but delicate in some ways. My favourite Teba shoes started to tear apart in joints from the rubber soles.
You could ask the brand before you purchase I if they somehow guarantee return policy or “no question asked” to change.
I still love my shoes, and I always purchase another pair of raffia shoes. Because:
