Coach 1941 gave me chills after all the flowers and butterflies from the previous seasons. Feels like the brand identity grew to whole different level. I feel like Coach 1941 has so many layers now because of ready to wear divisions as one of the oldest brands in America.
I was so impressed by menswear in this collection, too. I’ve would have never thought that menswear is gonna be this cool under the name of Coach 1941 brand.
Creative director Stuart Vevers has actually British background but he is gonna make NYFW waiting worthy after this show. I feel like not only Simons of Calvin Klein but Stuart also makes NYFW wait worthy after a long period.
The show’s setup was so good that I can see that if the fairy tales were true in today’s world, we’ll see a scene something like this. Old TVs bring back to me the 80s as a late 80’s born It’s very comforting to see that. Coach has never been relatable to me before. But with this collection Coach 1941 brand has a different place in my heart.
Indeed the opening look brought all the craftsmanship of the popular Coach leather jackets—tassels, braiding, silver charms—to the idea of the evening.
