The weather gets cold and I am not enjoying it. I don’t know why but this summer feels like short for me. Maybe because of my pregnancy. I finally start to wear whatever I like whatever trend in the current season. Velvet is the thing in this season. So I decided to write about “how to wear a velvet blazer casually”.
Blazer: Scotch and Soda
Jeans: Zara (old season)
Pumps: Ralph Lauren
Bag: Louis Vuitton Metis Bag
Sunglasses: Miu Miu
Watch: Daniel Wellington
I feel very lucky because I didn’t get the weight during my pregnancy as much as I thought so. All the women in my family get too much pregnancy weight and they struggle to lose it later on. (I need to write how I kept track on my weight during my pregnancy.)
And now, want to show you a couple of trends from this season in following weeks.
Generally, I don’t follow trends. I buy a couple of things from the season and always use my older clothes to style them together. I don’t wear for trends but myself. When you see my Instagram see all the looks I work on you can easily say that I don’t have a strong trend followings.
But I have to admit that I really like the velvet trend of this fall. I love casual chic looks anyway. And pairing a velvet blazer with the ripped jeans and the stilettos is one of my favourite stylings. I know It is very easy and there is no creativity on this look but I really like to play with the colours in this look. I never put rose pink and forest green together. Ever! But they look very nice together in here.
I’m really glad that I bought these Miu Miu sunglasses. They put so much character to any look. My Louis Vuitton Metis bag gives the seriousness I want.
I hope you enjoy this fun but a little serious casual chic look. This was another way to show you “how to wear a velvet blazer casually”.
