Here I come with another article series. As you know I’ve decided to write blog series for my looks. This is going to be my second series. The first one is about the colour of the year “ultraviolet“. And this time I’ve decided to focus on “Ultimate Office Styling Guide for Modern Women”.
I don’t know if I’ve ever mentioned here that my style was so classical back in 2011 when I was working with one of the biggest conglomerates in Turkey. It was not because of the seriousness of my job but I always like to wear killer businesswoman looks.

Once I moved to New York my style changed so dramatically. My style evolved very diversely as the city itself. And I realized how much I like this new me. I became more laid back and learn to let it go. I was so ambitious person once, I am still ambitious in certain ways but I am not that person anymore who makes herself miserable when things don’t go the way she wants.
You may never realize this but fashion really reflects us what kind of person we are. Who we are and what we want from life.
Once I was doing this interview with one of the fashion companies in the Istanbul. And the recruiter asked me if I know what the “the white shirt” means. I was clueless what she was talking about but she told me that the white shirt means business, success for a working woman. I object what she was saying back then. And I still think what I thought back then is true. It’s all about how do you feel about yourself when you wear something. But I understand her now in a way. Because all the choices we do in our looks reflects our psychology.
So today I am in the mood of “killer business woman”. You can see me as a business owner who has meetings with overseas stakeholders, and we are gonna have a very important business dinner. This is why I am on the edge of classiness… 🙂 Aim to impress and get the deal done! Classy, yet very modern, know about the trends (a trend bag and a trendy coin necklace) and professional looking.

I ask myself what is the story of this woman, where she lives, how much money she makes, what kind of movies she likes etc. This is why I love being fashion bloggers because I can be whomever I wanted to be in the days of my photo shooting.
